But maybe commentarius ended like diaries usually end. In the middle and without any explanation.
Okay, so here’s the thing.
You’ll probably cry, but not because you won’t find out the ending. TLAT is not abandoned. The whole “2 years between updates” thing is pretty normal, because the chapters are very long, very detailed, and the author very busy (if only fic writing was a career option).
The same thing can be said about Commentarius, which I also rec’d.
But these are two of the biggest fics in the fandom (in fact they each have their own fandoms as well) so they are definitely worth reading.
The authors both have blog that they’re active on, and they’ll sometimes give updates on how the next chapter is coming along. Jules writes TLAT and Bee writes Comm.
Btw, if you do end up reading Comm, I should let you know that a lot of people (including me, originally) read the first chapter or two and don’t care for it. If that happens to you, just push through it. It’s worth it.
I’ve been so bloody fucking in love with you, and you can’t even fucking remember—”
Oh my god.
Oh my god.
Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.
"What?" I whispered hoarsely, my entire body frozen, everything in me just…ohmygodohmygod. "What did you just say?"
