thenewbuzwuzz..I HAVENT SEEN THIS POST YET im having feelings because they SEE each other and that’s something they’ve both wanted for so long to be seen. to be noticed. to be understood. to be given a chance to be more than what they are and that second-to-last gif is giving me feelings bc it’s the only one where spike isn’t looking at dawn and yet that moment says so much about how much spike values dawn’s perpective because they haven’t been best buds through season six AND YET dawn is the one who goes to spike and asks why he hurt her sister dawn is the one who asks spike what he was thinking dawn is the one who goes to spike and says ‘ok but i don’t understand’ and asks for an explanation because she respects him and wants to give him a chance to explain himself AND SPIKE. he takes her reaction to heart and decides he must apologize to buffy and of course it goes HORRIBLY but i’m still amazed that he puts that much stock in dawn’s assessment .. select tags via apprenticebard
